The South Glamorgan Centre is to open a temporary Caravan & Motorhome site at Caerphilly RFC, which is only a
half mile walk to the Medieval Castle, in and around which the Big Cheese is being held.
The temporary site will open on Thursday 25th July at noon and close on Monday
29th July at noon.
The site is on a rugby pitch, so is level and well drained with views of the Castle as a bonus.
Toilets and showers will be available along with battery charging facilities.
On the Friday night you can watch the spectacular fire works display from the enclosed rugby stadium (great views) while enjoying nibbles and wine, all included in the price.
There is a bar on site along with a function room, in which we will hold a
Fun Evening along with musical entertainment and a buffet on the Sat evening.
Sunday Lunches and Breakfast will also be available, subject to enough demand.
Costs are £39 for Thursday to Sunday, which includes 2x buffets (Saturday night) and the wine & nibbles on Friday night, an additional £12 if required for Sunday night.
Due to the popularity of the event, and the seating restrictions on the Saturday evening, priority will be given to those Members booked in who have requested a buffet. Visitors will be welcome at the Sat social, subject to the above space restrictions. Extra buffets will be available at £6.50 a head (>12 yrs) and at £3.25 (6 to 12yrs).
